Another year of fun is starting for the Chess Club. We are very happy to see our current players back and would like to welcome our newcomers. Our club is for all LPS students who are interested in chess and we can accommodate kids with different skill levels from novices to advanced players. We are very lucky to have a competent and experienced team of chess coaches - Miro Nowak, Blair Mandla and Kathy Kuestler - at our school. The kids will have fun and surely learn lots from them.

Congratulations, you have survived the first few weeks of school and got a schedule organised. With impending building works in and around the school - now is the time to think about setting up that walking bus arrangement for 2010. This could be simply to transport children down the hill to waiting cars, or it could be to walk all the way home.
