Then the Social Committee would love to hear from you.

The Social Committee runs a number of events across the school calendar. We start each year with a Welcome Back BBQ which provides all Lindfield families, old and new, with an opportunity to kick off the new school year. This year we also held a Kindergarten Cocktail Party at Roseville RSL and provided a chance for many of our new and existing families to have a fun informal gathering and swap stories of the first few weeks of "Big School".

Every year, in first term we have our Bush Dance and mini fete, like a mini Easter Show minus the parking hassles and expense. This great family day is another opportunity for people to gather and raise funds for the whole school community.

Our wonderful Year 3 parents have a major fund raiser in term 3. In past years this has been a Trivia Night and Art Auction and will again be a greatly anticipated event in September this year.

Each year the Social Committee raises approximately $30,000 dollars which helps fund important projects such as the purchase of electronic white boards and the upgrading of play equipment. We also liaise with other committees to assist with their events.

The Social Committee relies on the diverse skills of our amazing parent body. We would love more people to join the committee. A special invitation to families who are new to Lindfield Public School, please consider joining our committee to meet other parents and support your school.
