A huge thank you to Ian French, David van Beek, Anton Ferreira, Richard Allen & Keith Sheppard, the group of Dads who put this years fathers day together.

We managed to feed in excess of 550 people on the morning.

At last weeks P&C meeting we covered off 3 key topics:

the new Social Justice Committee

Thank you to Nadja Leffer and the social justice committee for a great presentaiton with so many ideas on how we at LPS can start connecting and helping those children not as fortunate as ours throughout Australia and in some of the poorer parts of the world.

Results of the Canteen Survey

Thank you to GA Research for running the Canteen Survey and presenting the results.  A big thank you also to the 250+ individual respondents with your feedback.  The Canteen committee now has the report and will present back to the  next P&C Meeting on 8th September with the changes / modifications they will be making as a result of the responses.

2011 Leadership programme

One more thank you to Craig, Rita and the teaching team involved in the Year 5/6 leadership programme for taking on board all the various views on last years process and coming up with a great process for this years children.

A huge thank you to all the people involved in running and supporting our Canteen, as a result the P&C was handed a $10,000 cheque.
